Animal Assisted Therapy Group (Ages 5-10)

Purpose of Group:

· To help teach kids the value of animals in therapy. To facilitate discussion about how animals, both real and virtual, particularly if kids can’t have live pets where they live, can help us cope with our emotions and stay healthy mentally.

· To bring in live animals on 3 of the 6 weeks for kids to meet and interact with, and to introduce them to virtual pet options on each of the 3 remaining weeks that could help them in similar ways.

· Frequency will be 1x per week for 6 weeks
